K143 Salix himalayas – beautiful small, white catkins

Description

Tiny white catkins appear in the spring on a deep red rod.  Not a weaving willow but lovely for winter colour and spring catkins for bees.

Approx 6′ growth in year 1, growing to 8/9′ in year 2.

We are part of the National Botanic Gardens of Wales pollinator scheme.
