Description
A lesser known basketry willow with slender leaves. Grows to 5-7 foot in the first year in our fields and has lovely delicate catkins. The catkins are usually the first to appear in early January. We have also used the longest, thickest rods in small living willow structures.
Please note, this willow isn’t blue! Rather it is green at the base and becomes dark red at the top when fresh.
Sold in bundles of 10. Each cutting is 10″ long and cut from the base of the rod to maximise rooting.
