LLANDYSUL Christmas Willow Crafts Workshop – Friday 8 November 2024

Description

A lovely, relaxing workshop to make some beautiful willow items to decorate your house or give as gifts.  One set of fairy lights and batteries is included for each participant to decorate their creations. A great way to spend the day.

10.30am – 4.30pm

Could include:

Large willow star or tree (with fairy lights) (60-90cm)
Mini Reindeers
Wreath – a plain one to decorate at home
Mini 2D Christmas Trees
Hearts
Seasonal Willow Bunting

£65 per person including all materials and tools.

Hot drinks provided.

About the tutor:  Justine Burgess of West Wales Willows.
Justine is a fulltime willow weaver based in West Wales. On her smallholding in Carmarthenshire, she grows around 260 varieties of willow, and has been awarded National Plant Collection of Salix from Plant Heritage.  Justine is a member of the Basketmakers Association (UK), Heritage Crafts, The National Basketry Organization (USA) and Plant Heritage.

IMPORTANT CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you are unable to attend a course please let us know as soon as possible.

• If a cancellation is made 28 days or more before the course start date then a full refund will be given or you can swap to another course.
• If a cancellation is made between 28 days and 14 days before the course start date and we are able to allocate your place to another student, then a 50% refund will be given. In the event that we are unable to allocate your place to another student, no refund will be given.
• If a cancellation is made less than 14 days before the course start date then no refund will be given.
