MYDDFAI Spanish Zarzo Basket Workshop – Thursday 31 October 2024

This is a really lovely basket to make and it looks stunning too.  Based on a Spanish cheese draining tray and uses tension to create the shape.
Choice of round or square basket – suitable for all levels, including beginners.

10.30am – 4.30pm ish

£ 65 per person including all materials and tools

About the tutor:  Justine Burgess of West Wales Willows.
Justine is a fulltime willow weaver based in West Wales. On her smallholding in Carmarthenshire, she grows around 260 varieties of willow, and has been awarded National Plant Collection of Salix from Plant Heritage.  Justine is a member of the Basketmakers Association (UK), Heritage Crafts, The National Basketry Organization (USA) and Plant Heritage.

Course is at: Myddfai Communuty Hall & Visitor Centre, Myddfai, Carmarthenshire, SA20 0JD

Lunch is not included and the cafe will be closed, so please bring your own.

IMPORTANT CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you are unable to attend a course please let us know as soon as possible.

• If a cancellation is made 28 days or more before the course start date then a full refund will be given or you can swap to another course.
• If a cancellation is made between 28 days and 14 days before the course start date and we are able to allocate your place to another student, then a 50% refund will be given. In the event that we are unable to allocate your place to another student, no refund will be given.
• If a cancellation is made less than 14 days before the course start date then no refund will be given.
